I had the honour to be a member of the Medical Dept

of the Hong Kong Govt as a Nursing Sister from 1903 until

1921 during the time you were Governor of the colony. I hope

you will pardon the liberty I have taken in writing to you

but I feel sure you will understand my reasons when I explain

the position I am in and I hope give me advice.
